This is the error message we get when I try to run a patch for the for an appliction that doesn’t display a pop up window for the “details button”. I tried uninstalling the application, but can’t for some reason. I was able to delete everything regarding it's application and start menu folders, and reinstall it via the user and admin logins to no avail. I even tried installing it from different locations (the network and local c: drive). The patch runs fine from the other two pcs I set up concurrently. I suspect the problem may have been initiated by the order to which I set up all of the applications on the pc and/or the extra number of attempts to which I attempted to add the application. I found this from 2000. It says to disable ikernel.exe first. I checked task manager and found several instances of it open and disabled them all; however, when I run the patch again, an instance of ikernel.exe reappears and the patch fails again with the same error message…,
